Without our wonderful volunteers, Shopmobility would find it difficult to keep up with our high level of service and demand for our equipment. We need volunteers to help fulfil a variety of duties.

We have a selection of jobs including reception work, escorting people to/from their vehicles and general helpers. Although you will receive no payment for your help, you will undoubtedly have a great sense of satisfaction knowing you have helped disabled people become more independent.

You will be reimbursed any out of pocket expenses such as travel expenses and if you work a full day (i.e. 10am – 4pm) a lunch allowance is also given.

How many hours would I have to work?

The answer to that is up to you. But we would like you to volunteer for at least one or two 3 hour shifts per week
